Welcome!

Since 1970, Pack 379 has been a part of the St. Louis Park community.  Boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade can join Cub Scouts.  Each child that joins will be put into a "Den" with other boys his same age and from his same grade.  Each Den usually has between 5 to 10 boys or girls and has a "Den Leader" that is usually the parent of a child in the Den.  Dens work on awards, badges, and have lots of fun together!

Pack Meetings

Pack meetings held once a month during the school year.  Pack 379 meets in the cafeteria of the St Louis Park Middle School. We meet on Thursdays at 6:30pm to 8pm. Please see our calendar for the most up-to-date meeting times.

Den Meetings

Dens meet 3-4 times a month (smaller groups broken out by grade level) at the St Louis Park Middle School.  These meetings are also usually on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm to 8pm, although individual dens may meet other times/places as desired.

What is the time commitment?

Dens usually meet 2 times a month.  Every month also has a Pack meeting where all the Dens get together to receive awards earned, learn about upcoming Pack activities, take part in the Raingutter Regatta or Pinewood Derby, and meet the other Dens and scouts in the Pack.

Where does the Pack meet?

Pack 379 meets at the St Louis Park Middle School. We also have our Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Dinner in the Junior or Senior High School cafeterias.  Exact meeting locations are always posted on this website and out calendar.

Where do Dens meet?

Dens can also meet at the St Louis Park Middle School, but really Dens meet where it is most convenient for them.  This can be at a parent's house, the Den Leaders' house, or a Den can decide to alternate where they meet so that all the parents in the Den can host a Den meeting.

Who are the Den and Pack leaders?

You are!  All the leaders are parents of children in the Pack.  We are all volunteers and we need your help!  Please consider volunteering to help this Pack deliver the best possible program for our boys and girls. Check out this presentation for volunteering in our pack!
